experience in the design and implementation of network, systems and/or services
management technologies from Computer Associates. Our Enterprise Services
Management (ESM) practice provides implementation solutions for Computer Associates
client base to improve their IT operations and management capabilities. NetGlow
continues to serve number of clients in financial services, state and local, retail,
manufacturing and travel industries
We need promising consultants to play a key role in the implementation, integration and
operation of ESM tools and processes for a number of projects throughout the United
States.
Designation
Sr. Consultant
We are looking for Consultant who has worked with CA products & possess 2-3 years experience in CA's ESM / BSO/ Security product implementation, support and/or administration with strong verbal and written communication skills in English. The job involves frequent onsite travel to serve our global customers.
Technical Skills
Advance level expertise with one or more CA products deployed e.g. NSM R11, ASM, DSM, Service Desk, eHealth, Spectrum, Service Desk Service Plus, CMDB, Web Response
Advance level expertise with CA eTrust products like SCC, Audit
Basic knowledge on technology like IDS, Firewalls, Unix and Widows security
Working knowledge of security products like Cisco Firewall, Sourcefire IDS, etc.
Scripting(Perl/Shell/Batch/SQL Query)
Implementation and Design experience with monitoring solutions encompassing one or more CA products
Good Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Windows, Unix platforms
Experience with MSSQL database
Reporting tools like Crystal Reports
CA Product certifications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Operations support experience
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills along with good communication skills
Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision or oversight

Job Responsibilities
Configure system policies to monitor availability, performance, response and service level metrics for new applications
Refine existing policies for improving event reduction, better fault isolation through advance correlation, de-duplication and suppression policies
Customize CA tools user interface, actions, filters, web interfaces/forms for users
Import and manage configuration data for various CA tools
Configure CA tools to update existing integration to support new releases of existing integrations
Event and Alert Policy tuning such as filtering, normalization and correlation
Analysis for on-boarding of new security devices/applications
Analysis for integration of major updates to existing security devices/applications
Optimize and upgrade integration among CA tools as well as other enterprise tools
Perform sustenance maintenance tasks like maintenance plan preparation, test plan creation to supervising as well as testing of maintenance patches, minor updates, test plan creation
Develop scripts (Shell, Perl, and Batch) and or configure tools sets to automate operational tasks and document operational procedures.
Provide level 2 support for problem resolution
Liaison with CA Support for issue resolution
Develop a repeatable process which allows others to draw efficiency for application on-boarding as well as operational issues
Maintain ownership of issues until resolution, drive other teams as needed, set customer expectations accordingly
Provide guidance, assistance, and mentoring support to junior team members
