Careers | Current Openings | Security Analyst - JD Security Analyst - JD   Work experience and qualification details: A Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree / BSC / MSC / MCA, with a major in Information Technology (IT) 3+ years of Analysis of Security Device (IDS, Firewalls) Alarms, Implementation knowledge of the Security and network devices (Cisco a must), basic knowledge of Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing skills   Certifications: CCNA, CCSP (preferred) CEH, CISSP (optional)   Technical Expertise: Implementation and configuration of Security products. Preferably Cisco products from following list: Cisco Security Manager, Cisco works, Cisco content engine (ACNS software) Other products from following list Microsoft TMG, Microsoft fore front, Fortigate, Juniper, Sonic wall, nessus, etc Strong understanding of networking, operating system. Must have strong knowledge of analyzing security Alarms Must have a sound knowledge of hacking techniques and types of attacks Understanding of Security Information Management (SIM) tool from application's perspective Be able to demonstrate and exploit vulnerabilities and other security weaknesses. Should have a basic knowledge of VA / PT tools Should have basic knowledge of traffic analysis tools like tcpdump, ethereal and log analysers Understanding of Linux, Windows / UNIX flavors   Job Responsibilities Implementation, configuration of Security products Generation of security / administrative alarms from the security devices Analyze the alarms generated from the devices Understand certain SIM applications used in our environment Provide guidelines to the team from Security and products perspective
